Holds the can really well and it’s got a snug fit. The magnets are strong enough to hold a full can in place even if you set it above the little lip holder. Full disclosure I’m a 6’ tall 220lb man that, while it’s not my favorite, can easily install steel dually wheels. I install gm transfer cases from the bench right into the truck solo. I CANNOT pull this thing off the side of my box lol. My 6’3 brother who makes me look small can’t either. I’m going to have to slide it off the side or over the top to get it off which will probably leave some marks on my box and that’s the only reason I’d give it 4 stars. A future design with a slot for a pry bar to help in removing would make this a five star tool storage item. I use my sure shot can 20+ times a day and it hasn’t moved a millimeter so absolutely great in that aspect. Just make sure you place this thing where you want it because it’s hard-impossible to move. Even at 4 stars without any revisions to its design I’d still totally buy another one! Most magnetic tool storage is underwhelming where this company said “hold my beer” I’ve got the xl prybar holder from this company securely suspending a 58” 10lb prybar over my head on the top of my hutch like magic. My snap on/ easy red holders barely secure a 36” on the side of my box and costed about the same as the xl from clr3d. Very pleased overall with their products!
